The road is flat, ideal for all levels, 25 km.
The route takes about 2,5 hours, the visit lasts 45 min. Total approx. time: 4 hours.
Much of this route runs through a fantastic green area.

The tour begins at PEDALING Palafrugell and goes further on Barri de Santa Margarida – Cala S’Alguer – La Fosca – Palamós.

Unlike other routes which run throughout the insite of the Empordà, this one follows
the coast. You can therefore take a refreshing swimming bath at the beach of La Fosca or in Palamós.
At the middle of the route, in a given point, we deviate a little in order to see the
panoramic view of Cala S’Alguer. Cala S’Alguer is one of the most beautiful creeks of the Costa Brava.
Later on we will see the wonderful view of La Fosca’s bay. On the promenade, we will enjoy this little side of the Costa Brava. Going towards the opposite direction, and climbing a small hill, we will again enjoy the view but from another point.
We will then go directly to Palamós which is beautiful city by the sea. At the Fishingmuseum, we will finally enjoy a very interesting visit. Don’t miss it !

Around 3 hours on the bike, plus 45 minutes on the visit. Approx. 4 hours
Leaving “PEDALING” in Palafrugell – Esclanyà – Pals – Sant Feliu de Boada – Palau Sator – Llavià – visit to the Iberian Village of Ullastret – Peratallada – Sant Feliu de Boada – Palafrugell
This is a very enjoyable route and fairly easy, which connects villages of the Empordà flatlands
During the time that the area was inhabited, the Iberians constructed a large walled area, setting up their own culture which influenced both the urban layout as well as the funeral rites and the various social activities they carried out.
You can discern the layout of the streets adapted to the shape of the mountain, the houses, the cisterns sculpted out of the rock, the temples and the extraordinary wall with square and circular towers. These materials enable the first pre-Iberian settlement to be dated to the end of the 7th century BC and the first Iberian town towards 550 BC.

At the beginning of the 2nd century BC, the place was abandoned. Archaeological remains found in the successive digs carried out on the Iberian town at Ullastret can be seen in Ullastret Archaeological Museum, in the site itself.

A fairly flat route, suitable for all standards, 45 Km.
Around 3 hours on the bike, plus 45 minutes on the visit. Approx. 4 hours
Leaving “PEDALING” in Palafrugell – Esclanyà – Pals – Sant Feliu de Boada – Peratallada - Canapost – Castell d’Empordà – Corça – Pubol.

The Gala Dalí Castle in Púbol, open to the public since 1996, allows visitors to discover a medieval building in which Salvador Dalí lent material form to an exuberant creative effort with his mind set on one person, Gala, and on one function, to make a place suitable for his wife’s rest and refuge. The passage of time led to this place being turned between 1982 and 1984 into Salvador Dalí’s last workshop and the mausoleum for his muse.
Figuring in documents since the 11th century, the basic structure of the present building, on three floors and arranged around a narrow inner courtyard, dates from the time of utmost splendour of the barony of Púbol: the second half of the 14th century and beginning of the 15th century.
When Dalí bought the castle in 1969 it was in a very poor condition, with ceilings collapsed, large cracks and the garden in semi-wild state. But all that lent the whole a romantic feel which is what the couple rated most and tried to retain in the restoration work they set under way. The ruinous appearance from the outside was consolidated, without hiding the scars left by the passage of time. The semi-ruined walls and ceilings were used in a highly intelligent way to create unsuspected areas and dimensions forming stark contrasts. The underlying conception of the interior decor was based on pictorial scenes on the walls, false architectural features, baroque-style use of fabrics, antiques, romantic symbols, and so forth. The result is an enclosed, mysterious, private, austere and sober place, with zones of considerable beauty such as the former kitchen converted into a bathroom or the Piano Room.

KAIAK TER & MOUNTAIN BIKE

This activity can be done any day.

We go to Verges by car, taking the bicycles there in the van.
We first do the section from Verges to Colomers by bicycle, which takes around 1.5 hours and is a very flat route. At Colomers we change over and take the canoes to get carried down the gentle current of the Ter river to Verges. The river is shallow, the water comes up to your waist and in some places is lower.
In around 1.5 hours we reach Verges and this pretty combined route ends.
The two routes are spectacularly beautiful, don’t miss them.
The price is 50€ per person, and includes bikes, canoes, life-jacket, helmets, guides and insurance.

If you want to live a fantastic and an unforgettable experience, don’t miss a guided tour on horseback through the Empordà’s beautiful spots, riding through pine forests, typical farms, crossing streams, and visiting water sources. All this is still possible in our privileged setting.
The ride lasts an hour but can be done through a couple of days if sleeping in cottages or in small hotels. All this is organized in order to make you fully enjoy your adventure.

Hot air balloon routes. 160€ x person

You meet your Pilot and Flight crew at a certain time. Then the balloon is prepared to be inflated, this usually takes half an hour. The meeting point is at the football pitch of Ultramort.
Once the balloon is inflated you climb into the basket and it takes off.

Depending on the weather we fly at approximately 500 and 2000 metres. Flights last about an hour or an hour and a half (according to weather conditions).
During the flight, the follow-up team follows us to the landing site.
After landing, we will have a complete breakfast and as tradition dictates, we will celebrate it with a champagne toast. We will take some photos of your flight and certificates will be handed in.

Timetable: from 6:45 to 7:00 a.m. from May to end of August.
From 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in autumn and spring.
From 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. in winter.

We leave our base port in Estartit to sail along our wonderful, rugged coastline, passing the Medas Islands and either going north to cala Montgó, or south to the coasts of Begur.
We anchor in a pretty cove for a good, cool dip.
